Duty of care
Victoria Beading has a duty of care to ensure that item descriptions are accurate and any pictures reflect the jewellery as faithfully as possible
Prices, Shipping Costs, Taxes and Import Duty
Prices
Prices quoted reflect
a) the costs of materials;
b) quality;
c) the work that each piece has taken to make and
d) any other associated costs of making the piece such as hallmarking if the piece includes precious metals
Duty and Import Tax
The prices stated on the website do not include any such import duty or taxes that may be applicable to overseas transactions and it is the responsibility of the customer to pay these as may be appropriate.
Shipping costs
These are over and above the price stipulated for each item.
Refunds and Exchanges
We aim to provide a high-quality service, act in good faith and provide accurate information about pieces of jewellery. If having received the item, there is any issue with it, the client should advise us immediately by email Victoriajewellery44@gmail.com upon receipt.
The client will will have 14 days to return it to us at their own cost with a copy of proof of sending and once the item is returned to us we may issue a refund or replace the item.
Suffient time should be allowed for an item to be received. If the item isn’t received within the expected time scale and is subsequently deemed to be lost in transit then the client should advise us by email and the appropriate action will be taken.
In the case of earrings for pierced ears, we cannot, for hygiene reasons, exchange them but will replace them in the unlikely event that they arrive damaged and do not have any signs that they have been worn.
PLEASE REMEMBER JEWELLERY CAN BE FRAGILE AND THEREFORE IT IS RECOMMENDED TO TAKE PARTICULAR CARE WITH FASTENINGS AND LINKAGES.
Payment and Delivery
Payment
Payment is made through PayPal. An invoice and link will be sent to the client via email for the goods before they are despatched once the funds have been received.
Delivery
An email notification will be sent once the goods have been despatched. Delivery will be as prompt as possible and will depend on the mail services. Items for shipping outside of the UK may take between 10 – 28 days depending on local services, customs control and other circumstances that are out of the control of Victoria Beading.
However, in the cases of any jewellery made to order, then despatch will depend upon the length of time that the item takes to make and the time scales will be made clear to the customer as applicable.
Packaging
All items will be suitably packaged to avoid accidental damage in transit and sent by registered or tracked post whenever possible although other delivery options may be used. Proof of sending receipts will be retained by us.
