Making a bespoke piece of jewellery can be a challenge and I ask clients to think carefully about the type of design they want as this will of course affect the cost, whether the design is technically possible and if it’s practical.
Beadwork has more flexibility than working with precious metals in terms of “getting it right” although making changes to a design once the construction is underway can be difficult and very time-consuming; besides adding additional costs to the project.
However, a bespoke item of jewellery will reflect the wearer’s individuality and uniqueness.
